ummmmm distraction

things to talk to mom about
meds - i can only take 3 months worth with me of ANYTHING and i need generic names for all of them to claim at costoms. send them to me maybe?

insurance - do i need more coverage than their plan gives me? traveler's insurance for europe?

when can we go shopping for.... lugage locks and voltage converters and eye-covers and an extra camera memory card or rape stick for pics.... should i wait to buy sheets and towels until i'm out there?

which lugage should i be taking? (then i can actually start laying out things i will need)

when i need to ship my lugage home (from australia or germany, as the case may be...), it will be expensive.... any ideas? would she be willing to pay for at least part of it? maybe?

so bird and i just decided that when we do our europe trip, we're going to do the british isles and then fly over to see eastern europe, ending in greece, and thena boat over to the boot of italy and fly home from rome. and yes this will really happen because we found out that life is so much more fun when you do what you plan to/want to do. and we've gotten better at going through with our plans (like the spring break visits and such) so even though we have to wait to set a date for this trip, it will happen as soon as i know about grad school and moneys. wow i love travel. i think when i'm older and have a good paying job (assuming also that i have massive amounts of free time and vacation time) that i won't spend $$$ on nice things like a big house or fancy car or big TV, i'll just live humbly and travel EVERYWHERE (with awesome people). that would make me happy.
